Rocket Residency
. In a dramatic turn from their saccharine beginnings, the band has since gone through several incarnations, in song writing and band personnel. According to lead singer Lauren Rocket, "This is a whole new band. We kept the name because we wanted to stay true to who we are, but have worked tirelessly and refined the sound into a concoction of Sabbath-meets-'N Sync-meetssomething very dangerous." Rocket was taken on last year by legendary manager Rick Sales (Slayer, Mastodon) who began working with the band when he saw them on a tiny stage, performing as if "they were in a stadium." The band has been working with producer Matt Squire (Panic at the Disco, 3OH!3) on new recordings. Rocket plays Saturdays October 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 11:45 PM.
