Katy Perry Goes Back To Her Hood for MTV

Two-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Katy Perry has gone from internet music sensation to bona fide international star in just two years. Her multi-platinum debut album, One of the Boys, generated four hit singles and sold over five million albums worldwide. On August 30th, the Santa Barbara-born Perry will unleash her highly-anticipated album, Teenage Dream, which features "California Gurls," the fastest-rising single to Top 10 radio in more than four years.
