. This December will mark the 30th anniversary of the former Beatle's murder at the hands of Chapman. He is now 55 and is serving a 20-years-to-life sentence at the maximum-security Attica Correctional Facility. Chapman will next be up for parole in August of 2012. Three parole board commissioners from the New York State Division of Parole had a video conference with Chapman. The three-member panel told the convicted killer about their resistance to his parole, because of "the disregard you displayed for the norms of our society and the sanctity of human life."
