Phish's Trey Anastasio Going To Princeton
. He'll be playing the Alexander Hall in the historic Richardson Auditorium, an intimate venue that is renowned for its remarkable acoustics. Anastasio will perform songs from throughout his career. The Scorchio Quintet, which supported Anastasio at the Tibet House benefit shows, will back him on select songs. String arrangements for The Scorchio Quintet will be by celebrated composer/arranger Don Hart, one of Anastasio's longtime collaborators. Hart arranged material from Anastasio's Seis de Mayo album for a performance at the 2004 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Thereafter the pair collaborated on Anastasio's Shine (2005), Bar 17 (2006) and 18 Steps (2006), and co-composed Time Turns Elastic, a classical piece thathas been performed by Orchestra Nashville, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic and recorded by The Northwest Sinfonia, conducted by David Sabee.
