Toilets Kill Music Festival
. "We have our own stock of portable toilets but we always need more," festival organizer Michael Eavis said. "We shop around with four companies to get the best price, but we are not bothering for 2012. There will be a huge demand for Portaloo toilets in London, so everyone will push up their prices and I can see it getting very expensive." But the Portaloos (as they are called in England) aren't the only reason for the cancelation. Eavis also said that the festival usually employs 600 police officers to keep its crowds of 130,000 safe, and that many of those officers will be working in London during the summer games. "We were told that there will not be enough police to cover the festival in 2012 as they will all be in London," he said. The Olympics will require more than 9,000 officers, according to the Daily Mail. - more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
