Cold War Kids Announce New Album and Tour

The band enlisted Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Tom Waits, Norah Jones, Modest Mouse) to produce and record the eleven song collection over a period of three months in Nashville TN, and Los Angeles, CA.

"I got home from tour and realized I was married. All my friends had either jumped in the deep end of a relationship or had drowned. When did things get so serious? We fought growing up but the wild nights and free-for-all caught up to us. Some people got out in time and others had permanent damage. For this record, I wrote about the joys and failures of commitment all around me," says Willett.

Fans will have a chance to hear new songs early when the band criss-crosses during their November and December tour. The tour kicks off in Pomona, CA at The Glass House on November 5th and will wind up in Memphis, TN on December 11th.
