Carlos Santana Ties Rolling Stones' Record

. (Gibson) Carlos Santana's new album, Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time, debuted at #5 on the Billboard Album Charts last week. The release's Top 10 chart entry tied a record set by The Rolling Stones.

As stated by Carlos Santana's official website, Santana and the Stones are the only two acts in the history of music to have Top 10 albums in every decade from the '60s through the '10s.

Santana's albums that have charted in the Top 10 include 1969's Santana, 1970's Abraxas, 1971's Santana III, 1972's Caravanserai, 1976's Amigos, 1977's Moonflower, 1981's Zebop!, 1999's Supernatural, 2002's Shaman, 2005's All That I Am and the new album, Guitar Heaven. - more on this story
