Lady Antebellum Give Fans Christmas in October
. "We recorded all of this in July," guitarist Dave Haywood said, "so it was a little bit peculiar being in the studio in the middle of July in Nashville, Tenn., 100 degrees outside, sweating, and doing a Christmas record. But we had a great time doing it. We had the studio all decorated... We brought everything we had from our houses and decorated and tried to get into the spirit. It was a fun experience." Just because the band (which also includes Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley) are celebrating the holidays early doesn't mean that they're taking the rest of the year off. In fact Lady Antebellum are as busy as ever, promoting "Hello World," the fourth single off of the double-platinum album Need You Now. They're also on their first headlining tour, which continues through November 20, and are nominated in five categories at the CMA Awards on November 10. Haywood said he and his bandmates have their eyes on the big prize. - more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock. Preview and Purchase Lady Antebellum CDs |
