Rob Halford's Fame Was Almost Fatal (Top Story)

Halford tells MTV: "Roy turns to me and goes, 'I have to stop � my heart's racing. I'm really freaking out here'." An ambulance was called, but once the crew realized Halford's identity their haste in taking Z to hospital abated considerably.

"They took Roy out of the room and I sat alone for a little bit. A paramedic came in and says, 'We want to take him to hospital, just to check him out.'" recalls Halford. "Then he goes, 'Hang on � you're the metal god!' He left the room and returned with half a dozen paramedics.
