. Metallica Fans Riot was a top story in January. Here it is again as we recap 2010: A Metallica concert in Chili turned unruly as fans reportedly rioted at the venue. BW&BK has this report: As reported earlier by Laht.com, a policeman was injured and 120 people arrested during a concert by Metallica before more than 50,000 fans in the Chilean capital, authorities said Wednesday.

Police said most of the arrests took place when hundreds of fans without tickets tried to force their way into Santiago's Club Hipico horse-racing grounds for Tuesday night's concert.

The detainees were arrested for offenses such as disorderly conduct, drug possession and drinking in public, police said. Prosecutors will decide on Wednesday [??] whether to prosecute the rowdy fans. - more on this story
