Jimi Hendrix's Favorite Guitar On the Block

Spinner.com reports that this was the guitar on which he wrote and arranged many songs, including a reworking of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower." The guitar is expected to sell for in excess of �150,000 ($250,000) when it sells at Bonham's of London in December.

The Sun newspaper reports that Hendrix's ex-girlfriend Kathy Etchingham said he had been very attached to the Epiphone instrument. "Jimi loved that guitar � he played it constantly." -
