Christina Perri Goes No. 1 and Will Play Conan

Perri's debut EP has flown to #1 on the Billboard New Artist Chart, an especially incredible feat given that it was recorded live in a mere five hours. A fast seller at iTunes, The Ocean Way Sessions (Atlantic Records) dominated the retailer's pop chart during the past week, outpacing artists like Rihanna and Katy Perry. The EP also debuts at #26 on Billboard's overall digital album chart.

All of this as the incredible success story surrounding her first single "Jar Of Hearts" continues to grow. The song picked up key adds this week in Los Angeles, Washington DC and Denver, climbing to #18* on the Hot AC chart. Sales have climbed at least 15% each week for the past 5 weeks, pushing overall single sales past 400,000 downloads. "Jar Of Hearts" jumped from 96 to 76 on the Hot 100 chart this week, rallied by new airplay and 32,000 track downloads.

The video for "Jar Of Hearts" has made fast fans at MTV and VH1. Perri has found herself a VH1 "You Oughta Know" artist and her video ranked #1 last week on their playlist.

Christina Perri is currently working on her debut album due out Spring 2011 on Atlantic Records. The album will include the five songs recorded live for The Ocean Way Sessions � "Bang Bang Bang," "Black+Blue," "Daydream," and "Tragedy."
