Anya Marina Hitting The Road With Joshua Radin
. After a co-headlining show with Steve Poltz on December 5th at Mississippi Studios in Portland, OR, Marina will be kicking off 2011 with a run of dates supporting Joshua Radin, beginning on January 28th at Mr. Small's Theater in Pittsburgh, PA. Available now at all DSPs, "Spirit School" features four newly recorded songs, all self-produced by Marina. Having relocated to Portland, OR, Marina enlisted the services of friend/neighbor Courtney Taylor-Taylor from The Dandy Warhols for her gritty rocker "Whatsit," which made its premiere on SPIN.com. Other noteworthy collaborations include Telekinesis' Michael Lerner on the EP's title track and an inspired remix of "Satellite Heart" (Marina's standout composition/performance featured in The Twilight Saga: New Moon film and on its accompanying soundtrack) by Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino. "SPIRIT SCHOOL" opener "You Are Invisible" will be prominently featured in this week's episode of ABC's Grey's Anatomy.
