. (hennemusic) "My pockets are full," exclaimed Sammy Hagar, referring to the $75,000 check his family foundation gave to the Nevada Cancer Institute (NCI) at Thursday night's Rock for the Cure, reports the Las Vegas Examiner.

"When I created the Beach Bar and Grill at McCarran Airport," said Hagar. "I decided that 100% of the profit would go to charity.

"So when Nevada Cancer Institute asked me to get involved with Rock for the Cure, I said, 'I will not only play for you, but I'll give you some money, too.'" - more on this story
