(Rock AAA) Ex-Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones has vowed that Dave Grohl's return to the Foo Fighters won't kill off supergroup Them Crooked Vultures and he's prepared to take action to make sure of it.

Jones, Grohl and Queens of the Stone Age mainman Josh Homme released their critically-acclaimed self-titled album last November and followed it up with a stack of well-received live shows.

But that was while the Foos were on a break. Now they're back in action and Grohl is planning a new record and tour for next year with his 'main' band. However, Jones is adamant the Vultures will return with a second album. -
