Liam Gallagher Debuts New Band With Free Song

. (Gibson) Liam Gallagher and his new band, Beady Eye, will release their first single as a free download today, November 10. Fans will be able to obtain the song, titled "Bring the Light," via the group's website.

The single also will be available in 7" vinyl form for a limited time, with the track "Sons of the Stage" as the B-side.

The four-piece group, which in addition to Gallagher includes former Oasis members Gem Archer and Andy Bell, along with ex-Oasis tour drummer Chris Sharrock, recorded their debut album this past summer. The yet-to-be-titled disc is scheduled for release in 2011. - more on this story
