Jack White's Blue Series Continues With Laura Marling Release

The series of limited edition 7-inch records, produced by Jack White and recorded at his own Third Man Studios in Nashville, has featured releases from Wanda Jackson, The Black Belles and Secret Sisters, amongst others.

For her Blue Series recording Laura Marling chose two incredible songs and does them heavenly justice: Jackson C Frank's "Blues Run The Game" and Neil Young's "The Needle And The Damage Done". Marling recorded the tracks - in one perfect take � earlier this year.

Laura Marling was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize for both of her albums Alas, I Cannot Swim (2008) and I Speak Because I Can (2010).
