Mishon Turns It Up
. The percolating pop/R&B/hip-hop infused dance track has just broken into the top ten of BET's "106th and Park" countdown, delivering on the ear-arresting promise of Mishon's earlier singles, "Excuse Me Mama" and "Just a Kiss." The new single also showcases another aspect of Mishon's many talents: he co-wrote and co-produced "Turn It Up," on which he infectiously proclaims, "The party don't start 'til I walk in." Shot on a soundstage in Los Angeles, the video for "Turn It Up" features Mishon in full party mode, connecting with a special lady on the dancefloor. The clip was directed Mickey Finnegan, who has also helmed recent videos from Jamie Foxx, New Boyz, LMFAO, Mario and R. Kelly. Mishon's debut album The Yearbook is coming later this year.
