Leiana Rescuing Pit Bulls

"I volunteer at PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society), which is one of the only no-kill shelters in the city that rescues pits. PAWS has also recently started the Save-a-Bull Initiative which is geared towards educating the public about bully breeds, and promoting their responsible adoption and ownership. The goal is to reduce the number of dogs killed in shelters."

PAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. PAWS is Philadelphia's largest rescue organization and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.
