Animals As Leaders Virtuoso Tosin Abasi Announces Guitar Clinic Appearance
. The band recently confirmed their participation in this year's "Summer Slaughter" tour, alongside Decapitated, The Faceless and many more. This will be the second year in a row Abasi will be on the tour, as he served as a touring guitarist in Born of Osiris for much of 2009, which included last year's edition of the tour. Abasi commented: "We're very excited about being a part of Summer Slaughter this year. I was able to experience the tour last year alongside friends Born of Osiris and to be a part of the tour this year with my own band is going to be one great Summer. Get there early!" Animals As Leaders' self-titled debut was released in 2009 to waves of critical acclaim Legendary guitarist Steve Vai recently commented on Abasi and Animals As Leaders: "When I first heard Animals As Leaders, I felt as though at last, I was hearing the future of creative, heavy virtuoso guitar playing. It's quite amazing." The band took to the road in late 2009 and has played with acts such as Between the Buried and Me, Periphery, Veil Of Maya and The Dillinger Escape Plan, among others.
