Green Day Announce Initial Dates For Summer Tour With AFI

In keeping with Green Day's trailblazing and innovative mind-set the band will feature all-inclusive ticket pricing for all tickets throughout their entire tour with no additional fees of any kind. A limited number of lawn seats will be offered for $20 when tickets go on sale to the general public. Tickets go on sale in select markets beginning March 26th at LiveNation.com.

Critics raved about the first leg of the 21st Century Breakdown tour, which launched in North America in July of 2009, before continuing on to Europe in the fall.

Released by Reprise Records on May 15th, 2009, 21st Century Breakdown debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, as well as on the Rock, Active Rock, and Alternative charts. The album has spawned two hit singles, "Know Your Enemy," which has been certified gold, and the platinum-selling "21 Guns," whose video won three 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, including "Best Rock Video." The band took home their second American Music Award for "Favorite Alternative Music Artist" in November.
