Sergio Mendes Video Contest

Bom Tempo is a festive celebration of life interweaving elements of pop, jazz and world music into a vibrant tapestry that could only be realized by the legendary Brazilian artist.

Just make a video set to the music of "Emorio" and you'll have a chance to win a $500 Amazon.com gift package! 2 Runners up will receive Amazon gift packages as well, with $250 going to the first runner up and a $100 gift card going to the 2nd runner up!

Additionally, the first 10 video producers whose videos reach 1000 views will receive a special Sergio Mendes prize pack that includes all of Sergio's CD releases on Concord Records!

Here's how Anti Music readers can enter:

1) Fill out a short ASSET REQUEST FORM here: bit.ly/bHv8pw
Once you've done that, you'll be sent an official form and the track parts for your video mashup pleasure!

2) Create your own "Emorio" video and upload to vimeo (if you do not currently have a vimeo account, please create one�they are free to create). Use whatever you want to make your video such as pictures, cell phones, still cameras, surveillance videos, reel to reel cams, etc., but make sure the video is not prohibited by copyright. It should be your personal footage or in the public domain

3) When your video is finished, join the Vimeo group Sergio Mendes' Bom Tempo Video Carnival and add the video to the group to submit your entry.

4) Start sharing your video with family and friends. To win this competition and take the grand prize, your video will need to receive to most views of all videos submitted to the group. The runners up will have the videos that received the 2nd and 3rd most views of all video submissions.

5) All entries must be submitted by midnight EST on (4/3/10). No exceptions. The videos that receive the most views will win so you'll want to promote the videos as much as possible! The winning entries will be featured on sergiomendesmusic.com with the producers receiving some fabulous Amazon.com Gift prizes!
