NPR On Location with Rosanne Cash
. Seattle Theatre Group presents this special event the first and only of its kind produced by NPR in collaboration with Seattle NPR Member stations KPLU and KUOW, and KOPB in Portland. This evening will peel back the curtain on Cash's life, her writing and her family, and the soundtrack that runs through it all. She is the eldest daughter of the late Johnny Cash and the daughter and step-daughter of two strong women, all of whom informed her outlook on life as an artist and the mother of five. The centerpiece of the event will be a conversation between Cash and Michele Norris; Cash will also perform a number of songs, including selections from her most recent album, The List. She will be accompanied by her husband and producer, John Leventhal. The program will end with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
