The Twilight Sad Release Live at Lime Digital EP
. The effort was recorded at the famed Stratosphere Sound in Chelsea. The layers of heavy guitar fuzz and electronic noise we'd come to expect were stripped away, replaced by spare, acoustic treatments that bring forth the raw beauty of James Graham's voice, and showcase the elegant restraint of Martin Doherty on keys and Andy MacFarlane on acoustic guitar. "The recordings are simply stunning: James' vocal on 'Cold Days' literally gave me chills the first time I heard it," enthused FatCat USA label manager Anna Bond. "We always ask that bands try something different for the Live at Lime sessions, and The Twilight Sad really went for it and delivered something totally unexpected. Being able to strip your songs back the way they did is testament to their musicianship not every band can do it," said Tom Monday, Director of Partner Relations. "We're thrilled to be presenting these intimate tracks from this incredible band." Preview and Purchase Twilight Sad CDs |
