Herbie Hancock New Album, Tour and TV Appearances This Week

. Herbie Hancock's The Imagine Project will hit stores tomorrow, June 22, and Herbie will celebrate the release with two television appearances this week and the kick off his extensive world tour.

Herbie Hancock's The Imagine Project is an unprecedented international recording and film project featuring collaborations between the music legend and a dozen superstars from every region of the globe. It utilizes the universal language of music to express its central themes of peace and global responsibility.

The DVD footage was produced by Doug Biro and Jon Fine of Hudson River Films. The Imagine Project embodies an extraordinary lineup of international superstars from all corners of the world. Artists include Dave Matthews, Anoushka Shankar, Jeff Beck, The Chieftains, John Legend, India.Arie, Seal, Pink, Juanes, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Chaka Khan, K'Naan, Wayne Shorter, James Morrison, Lisa Hannigan and C�u.

TV Appearances include: June 22 - Jimmy Fallon (Herbie with The Roots) NBC 12:35pm / 11:35PM CT and June 23 - The Today Show (Performing with India.Arie) NBC 7am ET / 10am PT
