Former Flatline Guitarist Randy Weitzel Hospitalized

"Hey all, Randy's wife Bridget here. Randy asked me to let you all know what happened to him (yesterday). We brought him to the ER early in the am with a horrific sore throat. Through the events of the day, we found out he has a severe bacterial infection of some sort.

They rushed him into surgery, intubated him and put him on a ventilator to help him breathe. He is currently in ICU and will be for a few days. Randy's been sober and hasn't had a cigarette in over 6 months, so none of this is related to any of that. His vocal chords swelled up so severely, that his airway was almost completely constricted. - more on this story
