Singled Out: Paul Adams
. The Ancients utilizes a haunting Native American Flute played in a middle Eastern minor scale that attempts to paint an aural image of sound representing my personal interest in mysticism. The drone and flow of the piece represents the ongoing sound that is universal. Whether Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, or any other "ism", my interest is in a unified theory of spirit. One tradition may call it "OM", physicists may call it "the big bang." For me I see little opposition between the mystic traditions after you dive beneath the surface. My song The Ancients is my aural painting of my instinctual belief. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album - right here!
