GxSxD Get Pulverised
. An abbreviation for "God Send Death," GxSxD formed in 2002 and, barely a decade into the band's career, found themselves touring massively throughout their homeland, gaining widespread popularity as one of the most powerful death metal acts to emerge from Japan. Offering an unforgiving, flawlessly executed assault of Euro-influenced DM, GxSxD's live appeal is further accentuated by the synchronized windmill headbanging of twin brothers Yusuke and Yohsuke Oka's. Added Pulverised A&R Manager Calvin Chiang: "I was instantly jaw-dropped by what I heard when I discovered GxSxD! Unbelievably tight with a vicious twin-guitar attack, GxSxD caught our attention and we knew they were -- and are -- in an exceptional class of their own. After some discussions with the band, the deal was quickly sealed and plans are currently underway for their second full-length effort, which we should expect sometime this year. GxSxD is truly an unstoppable force; be prepared for their brand of barbaric death metal!" Pulverised label manager Roy Yeo agrees: "I had the pleasure of seeing GxSxD live in action when they stopped by in Singapore recently. The band is just visually stunning on stage and I was absolutely blown away! GxSxD is probably one of the most outstanding death metal band out of Asia that I've heard in a long time. It is a great honor to have GxSxD as a part of the Pulverised family and we will expect nothing less than a devastatingly crushing album from the band!" Further details on GxSxD and their forthcoming full-length to be revealed at a later date... Stay tuned. Preview and Purchase GxSxD CDs |
