Singled Out: Ernie Halter's Angel
. Last year, I was heading out for a month long tour and my car died in the middle of rural Kansas. There was a girl I had met in Indiana a few months earlier, and we'd only met once briefly, but had become friends long distance. Soon we were talking and texting daily, and when my car broke down, she reached out to me and offered me her car as long as I needed. I'd never met anyone so selfless in my life. I was reluctant to accept help, but was in need, and eventually said yes. I wrote her this song to say thank you. She later moved to California, where we live together, and I feel happier and more at peace than I've ever been. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album - right here! Preview and Purchase Ernie Halter CDs |
