The album sold 63,000 copies. The album also debuted at #1 on the Hard Music Chart, both top and current, and is #1 on the Current Alternative Chart, as well. Korn III is the band's seventh album to land in the Top 5.

Internationally, Korn III debuted Top 5 in Austria, Canada, Japan, Germany and New Zealand, Top 10 in Australia, Mexico and Switzerland and Top 20 in France, Denmark and Holland, with several countries yet to report. In almost every International market, these chart positions have exceeded the chart debuts from their previous albums.

Korn are currently on tour, co-headlining the main stage of the third annual Mayhem Festival, which is enjoying a 30% uptick in sales this year, bucking the trend of a down summer touring season that is seeing several cancellations.
