Justin Bieber Television Special To Air Wednesday

No topic was off limits as Bieber, his mother and his grandparents all spoke with E! about Justin's growing up, a process still very much in development as the pop star is only 16.

In addition, Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, Island Records CEO L.A. Reid, and Bieber's mentor, Usher, go on the record with revealing new details about Justin's supersonic rise from an eager kid with a few catchy videos online to one of the most popular singers in music today.

Also, in what is sure to delight his fans, E! outfitted Justin with a FlipCam that was used on his current worldwide tour to capture exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of pop's newest icon. The E! Entertainment Special: Justin Bieber- My World premieres on Wednesday, July 7th at 10:00 PM, ET/PT on E!.

Justin Bieber is a modern day phenomenon. Raised by his mother, Pattie, in the Canadian city of Stratford, Bieber went from a complete unknown to having a number one record in less than two years. After winning a local talent competition at the age of 12, Pattie posted his entry on YouTube.com for friends and relatives to view. To the family's surprise, the video kept getting hits and it wasn't long before more than a million strangers had logged on to see Justin sing. "I started getting a lot of positive reviews, getting a lot of comments and stuff, telling me to post more videos. So I kept posting more," recalls Bieber of his budding popularity. One viewer who became hooked was talent scout Scooter Braun, who was scouring the web for unsigned talent when he happened upon a Bieber video. Braun went on a mission to meet Justin and Pattie and finally convinced them to fly to Atlanta (Justin's first ever plane ride) to talk about a potential partnership. When Braun arranged a meeting with Justin's idol, Usher, the deal was sealed. It wasn't long before Justin landed a contract with Island Records and within a year racked up a string of hit and captured the 24-7 attention of millions of teenaged girls.
