Bret Michaels Has Emergency Surgery
. Doctors in San Antonio, Texas, removed his appendix after he'd spent the day complaining of severe stomach pains. A spokesperson says he's doing well and beginning the recovery process. Michaels cancelled the San Antonio show at the very last moment, and has subsequently had to postpone all tour dates for the rest of the month. A statement says: "Moments before he was to take the stage, doctors at Sea World urged Bret to go to hospital as he'd been suffering all day from severe pains, and what was assumed to be a severe case of the flu." - more on this story 2010 is almost halfway gone.
