Living Sacrifice Week: Nietzsche's Madness
. This song started with a pretty solid riff and structure from Lance our drummer, and we got together to jam it and work on it in pre-production as a band. I had a riff and rhythm pattern that fit with the verse and I don't remember, I think Rocky came up with the breakdown riff in the middle. When it came time to do percussion, Lance worked on a pretty cool pattern for the breakdown that sets it apart. It just comes alive when we hit that part. I love it. Lyrics were inspired from reading about Fredrick Nietzsche and how some of his philosophy influenced Hitler and the Nazis.
