Ke$ha Debuts At No 1

This also marks the biggest first week for an artist's debut album released in January in SoundScan history. Ke$ha is also the first artist since Leona Lewis' debut in 2008 to have a #1 debut album AND a #1 debut single.

This week marks Ke$ha's 4th week in the #1 spot on the SoundScan Digital Songs Chart and it was joined at the top by her second single "Blah Blah Blah" making its debut at #2. Ke$ha's "TiK ToK" is #1 on the Hot 100 and has held that position for 3 consecutive weeks thus far and "Blah Blah Blah" is a hotshot debut at #7. Ke$ha has the distinction of having the two biggest selling tracks this week and is only the 4th artist in history to achieve such a feat (in the company of The Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce and Mariah Carey) and the first new artist to do so. Ke$ha also has 3 songs in the Top 15 of the Digital Songs Chart. Ke$ha's tracks have sold over 693K in 1 week.
