Tokyo Rosenthal Announces New Release And Northeast Tour
. Rosenthal is joined once again by an all star lineup to accompany him on his original material and his own multi instrument recording. Featured artists include Al Perkins on pedal steel guitar, Chris Stamey on bass, Peter Holsapple on accordion, Bobby Britt on fiddle, Jim Steinberg on banjo, Tim Rae on drums and Lisa Lacheau on flute. Rosenthal chimes in on rhythm and lead guitar, piano, drums, harmonica and mandolin as well as all vocals. The album was produced by Rosenthal with additional production by Stamey. 'Ghosts' will be available at most on-line outlets including CD Baby, iTunes, HMV and Amazon.com. It will also have retail distribution via Dynasty Records in the US and Europe. "It was great to be back in the studio, especially with some of the great people I got to work with again and for the first time," said Rosenthal. "Now I look forward to touring and playing my new material all around the world." "Toke's" first tour behind 'Ghosts' will be in the Northeast US kicking off at the world famous and legendary music venue, The Bitter End, on February 10. This will followed with dates up the east coast to Boston and points north. In March Tokyo will embark on one of his patented radio station car tours beginning in his home territory of North and South Carolina and hitting clubs along the way too. "After that I will go wherever they send me, likely to Texas and points west," Rosenthal added. In late April Rosenthal returns to the UK where he just finished a successful two week tour.
