Steve Perry Retired, Not Looking for Journey Reunion (Top Story)

The false story is believed to have surfaced after the Daily Star misused a quote from guitarist Neal Schon, who recently said: "He's no longer the lead singer � he walked out."

By adding speculation to the quote, the Star suggested Perry had asked to rejoin the band. But RockAAA has established that event did not take place. A spokesman for the singer says: "It's just not true. The story came from London, the home of tabloids � they make up stories every day. Steve is enjoying his retirement." -
