On his website, McIver announced the 2011 release of Crazy Train: The High Life and Tragic Death of Randy Rhoads and Overkill: The True Story of Mot�rhead.

Crazy Train will concentrate on the impact of Rhoads' all-too-brief career on subsequent generations of players, including interviews with Tom Morello, Annihilator's Jeff Waters, Exodus' Gary Holt and several others. The book will also feature a foreword by Zakk Wylde.
