Beck Producing Thurston Moore's New Solo Album

. (Gibson) Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore is prepping his third solo album, and he's called on his buddy Beck to produce it.

Moore spent time in California, recording the release at Beck's home with the help of violinist Samara Lubeski (who was also featured on Moore's previous album) and harpist Mary Littimore, according to Spin.com.

"Beck sings and plays a little bit on it," Moore told Philadelphia Weekly. "Samara and Mary both play on it quite extensively and very, very beautifully. Beck really put them through the paces." more on this story
