Avenged Sevenfold Cancel Festival Appearance

. Warner Bros sent over this band news for Avenged Sevenfold fans from down under following Mike Portnoy's announcement that he has left the group:

Avenged Sevenfold regretfully announce that they will not be appearing at the upcoming Soundwave Festival in Australia. After much effort, the band decided that they could not offer fans the live experience they have come to expect and didn't want to disappoint them. Avenged Sevenfold will return to Australia soon to headline their own tour.

"We're really sorry it's not possible for us to play this show, and apologize for any inconvenience it has caused," says singer M. Shadows. "The last thing we ever want to do is disappoint our fans, and we'll be back to make it up to the Australian fans soon."
