Nikki Sixx Plans Movie

. (Gibson) Nikki Sixx's This is Gonna Hurt project just got a little more complex with news that the book and album project will also include a documentary.

The M�tley Cr�e bass player and chief songwriter's new book, the follow-up to his New York Times Bestseller The Heroin Diaries, is tentatively due in March 2011. The publishers describe it as "part photo, part journal � but all Nikki Sixx. It is a collection of compelling snapshots and stories that capture the rage, love, optimism, darkness, and determination that shape his work." Like The Heroin Diaries, the book will be accompanied by a soundtrack album by Sixx's band, Sixx:AM.

Sixx told his Twitter followers, "In the middle of making documentary about my book 'This is gonna hurt' and Sixx:A.M. album of same name...This project has so many layers." more on this story
