Bobby Long Maps Out Tour Plans

. (Submitted) Bobby Long has announced the first leg of a North American concert tour in support of his forthcoming album, A Winter Tale, from ATO Records.

The collection of 11 original songs, produced by Grammy-winner Liam Watson, will be released on February 1, 2011.

Long, who now makes his home in New York City and perhaps is best-known as the songwriter behind "Let Me Sign" featured in the blockbuster film Twilight, has cultivated a devoted fan base through non-stop touring in United States, Canada and Europe.

Known for a repertoire deeply rooted in American folk, blues and country music, he will return to the road with a band of crack musicians to fully bring his gritty, powerful material to life on stage.

The second leg of the tour will follow with planned dates in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic to include cities such as Charlottesville, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Nashville, Cincinnati and Atlanta.
