The single is from the band's forthcoming release Who We Touch, due out on September 14, 2010 via The End Records. The album was produced by Youth (Killing Joke, Primal Scream, Paul McCartney) and is the band's eleventh studio release. 2010 is the 20th anniversary of the release of The Charlatans debut album, Some Friendly, in 1990.

The band - Martin Blunt (bass), Jon Brookes (drums), Tim Burgess (vocals), Mark Collins (guitar) and Tony Rogers (keyboards) - will be heading to America a week prior to the album's release for a tour that begins September 7 in Atlanta, Georgia and wraps September 22 in Los Angeles, California. The tour marks the first time in over four years since The Charlatans performed in North America.

The Charlatans will be making several special in-store appearances along the tour route, including free performances in Boston at Newbury Comics, in Toronto at Sunrise Records, at Criminal Records in Atlanta and Live @ Best Buy in Union Square in Manhattan.

Douglas Hart (Paul Weller, Pet Shop Boys and original Jesus & Mary Chain bassist) directed the new video for "Love Is Ending" and the band recently revealed an accompanying 'making of' video. Video - Behind the Scenes Clip
