The Eagles Joe Walsh Answers Fans Calls Tonight

To select the lucky fans that will have the opportunity to speak with Walsh, banners went live on www.joewalsh.com and www.eaglesband.com on Friday, which encouraged fans to participate by emailing eagles@aperadio.com with what they'd want to talk to Walsh about. From the Clear Channel studios, Walsh will make dreams come true when he calls select fans for on-air conversations. Between calls, Walsh will play personally selected songs and reminisce in his own affable style.

The channel that has brought "Our Stories, Our Friends, Our Favorite Music" since its launch in July 2009 continues to roll out new and exciting broadcast content. Walsh's down-to-earth conversations with fans will add to his busy year of on-air chats with friends and fellow rock stars including Ringo Starr, AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson and Mike Rutherford (Genesis, Mike + the Mechanics). While guests such as Starr, Johnson and Rutherford are bona fide rock stars, they're also personal friends of Walsh, making for spontaneous and organic interviews that aren't heard anywhere else.

Walsh and the Eagles themselves direct the programming of their 24-hour channel, with the band members choosing and frequently updating the playlists and all other creative concepts for their fans and music lovers in general. Music from the Eagles themselves will also be featured on occasion, accompanied by behind-the-scenes stories about the songs. Walsh has also selected tracks from other favorites including the Allman Brothers Band, Kings of Leon, Wilco, Sly and the Family Stone and more, to air throughout the programming day.
