Songwriter Claude Kelly has scored with Fantasia's "Bittersweet," which jumped to #1 on the Urban Adult Radio Airplay chart as the #1 greatest gainer at the format.

Once again, Claude Kelly is at the helm of a chart invasion, which is a familiar position for the "Studio Beast," whose numerous chart-topping credits include Kelly Clarkson's Billboard Hot 100 #1 "My Life Would Suck Without You," Miley Cyrus' Billboard Hot 100 #2 "Party In The U.S.A.," Britney Spears' Billboard Hot 100 #3 "Circus," Jason Derulo's Billboard Hot 100 #5 "In My Head," among others.

"Bittersweet," the lead single off Fantasia's forthcoming album, Back To Me, out August 24th on J Records, marks the long-awaited return of the platinum-selling songstress. On May 12th, she commanded the American Idol stage with a soul-stirring performance of the song and was met with great reviews - which further cemented Claude Kelly's status as a masterful songwriter. While on stage, Fantasia expressed her excitement about getting back to her roots and "working with a lot of great people [including] Claude Kelly."

Recently, Claude Kelly was in the studio with Fantasia's fellow American Idol alums: Season 7 winner David Cook; Season 7 runner-up David Archuletta; Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert ("For Your Entertainment," "Can't Let Go"); Oscar-winning, Season 3 finalist Jennifer Hudson and X Factor winner Leona Lewis (Sex and the City 2's "Love It Your Color"). Other credits include: Ke$ha's "Take It Off"; six tracks on Christina Aguilera's album Bionic; Charice's "In This Song"; Miranda Cosgrove's "Kissin' U" and three songs on Whitney Houston's album I Look to You.
