Exile Era Rolling Stones Hitting The Silver Screen

. A classic Rolling Stones concert may be coming to a theater near you. Nightwatcher reports that 'Ladies and Gentlemen ... The Rolling Stones,' was filmed on the band's 1972 'Exile on Main Street' tour, and will appear at more than 800 cinemas this autumn.

It will subsequently be released on DVD and Blu-ray in November, just in time to make its way onto every self-respecting Stones fan's Christmas lists.

The footage was captured on 16mm film over four nights at concerts in Fort Worth and Houston, Texas. 'Ladies and Gentlemen ... The Rolling Stones' was originally released in 1974. - more on this story
