Truth & Salvage Co. Hitting The Road
. The 43-date run marks the band's first extended headline tour. The trek also includes performances at a number of high profile summer festivals, including Bonnaroo, Beale Street Music Festival, Wakarusa and High Sierra Music Festival. "We are having a blast and it just keeps getting better. The whole thing is a dream come true," says Truth & Salvage Co.'s vocalist/guitarist Scott Kinnebrew. "It's going to be beautiful. Throughout the summer we have shows booked in towns and festivals all over the nation with people as eager to see us as we are eager to see them. Now is the moment and this moment is fine!" Truth & Salvage Co. emerged from the revered Hotel Cafe singer/songwriter scene in Los Angeles. The band's six members met after migrating to the West Coast from various points throughout the Midwest and Southeast. Comprised of four lead vocalists and songwriters, the band attracted the attention of The Black Crowes' Chris Robinson. He would go on to sign Truth & Salvage Co. to his label and produce their debut album. The 12-track effort that resulted from those sessions has drawn early comparisons to the likes of The Band, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and The Eagles. Standout songs such as the album's first single "Call Back" and it's closing track "Pure Mountain Angel" intertwine timeless country rock balladry with sweet four part harmonies, while up-tempo guitar-driven numbers like "See Her"and "Heart Like A Wheel" strike a perfect balance between vintage rock choruses set against rugged Americana. Truth & Salvage Co.'s unreleased song and video of "Them Jeans"was recently selected by Gap Jeans to debut on the fashion retailer's new iPad e-commerce application. Currently, Truth & Salvage Co. is on the road with The Avett Brothers.
