Alcoholic Faith Mission Book Some Dates
. Let This Be The Last Night We Care, the band's third album, seems destined to become one of the summer's ubiquitous favorites. It is equal parts melancholy and celebratory, electronic and organic propelled along by shout-sung choruses, stacked harmonies, walls of electric guitar, analog clicks and crashes. The album's hallmarks are its seemingly infinite textures, and beautiful melodies sung with a sense of urgency to often despondent lyrics. The name of the band is more of an ironic corruption of "apostolic faith mission," than a nod to the over-indulgence it implies. It's from a neon sign in Brooklyn from which Thorben Seier Jensen and Sune Slund set off on their search for a musical road-less-traveled. 4/27 - TBA Preview and Purchase Alcoholic Faith Mission CDs Alcoholic Faith Mission MP3 Downloads |
