Nearly 1 million dollars were raised for Sarah's charity foundation that helps bring music into the lives of young Canadians, providing free music programs to youth in under-served communities.
The full day concert enjoyed performances from up and coming artists Dustin Bentall, Meaghan Smith, The Canadian Tenors and duo Luke Doucett and Mellisa McLalland; alongside headline performances by Sheryl Crow, Neil Young and Sarah McLachlan.
Reviews for the concert have been glowing. The Globe and Mail declared it a "concert of a lifetime", The Province Newspaper pronounced the event "the perfect day" while The Vancouver Sun raved the show "the best of Sarah's carrer." More accolades continue to roll in this week, with the Georgia Straight headline reading "concert nothing short of perfection."
