Beginning January 7, in Washington, DC at the 9:30 Club, the tour includes stops in New York at Webster Hall and Chicago at the Metro, before wrapping up in Los Angeles at the Henry Fonda Theatre.
There will be a members only pre-sale, starting October 27 through the cityandcolour.ca mailing list, offering buyers of the first 30 tickets sold in each city a meet and greet with Dallas Green.
City and Colour is touring in support of Bring Me Your Love. Released in February 2008, it was selected by iTunes as one of the "Best Albums of 2008" and by MySpace as one of "50 Albums You Should Know in 2008."
City and Colour's last headlining US tour, in January '09, was sold out -including a two-night stand at NYC's Bowery Ballroom. Prior to that, in October 2008, City and Colour supported Tegan and Sara on their American national tour.
These rare US dates will give fans an opportunity to hear a few new City and Colour songs as well as tracks from Sometimes (City and Colour's debut album) and Bring Me Your Love.
