The event will benefit the Noreen Fraser Foundation, an organization that uses educational and awareness campaigns to raise funds for translational cancer research aimed at developing new prevention methods, diagnostic tools and non-toxic therapies to treat women's cancers.
In addition, guests will also have the chance to bid on a Pink Epiphone guitar autographed by David Cook, Pitbull and Pete Yorn. This stop is part of Hard Rock International's a month-long, PINKTOBER breast cancer awareness campaign.
Dobson entered the music world as a 16-year-old rock star in 2003. She quickly secured endorsement deals with the highly popular "Got Milk" ads and Tommy Hilfiger campaigns. Fefe has had songs placed in the score for the film, "The Perfect Score," and has garnered numerous nominations and awards for her gold-selling self-titled debut CD. Her sophomore release, Joy, will hit stores this Fall.
The 2009 PINKTOBER program marks the 10-year anniversary of Hard Rock's support of raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The PINKTOBER campaign includes a series of live music events at Hard Rock venues around the world that feature both established and emerging artists rockin' for a cause. Hard Rock properties will also offer a limited-edition 2009 PINKTOBER Breast Cancer Awareness Pin, T-shirt and Key chain and feature a line of special PINK drinks. Proceeds* from the sale of special limited-edition 2009 Hard Rock PINKTOBER merchandise will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
*75% of the retail price of each Pin sold and 15% of the retail price of each T-shirt and Key chain sold goes directly to the cause
